PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
THEWIG,,
Edwards hair is well, hair apparently. In case that wasn't an immensely obvious factor. Hair is an odd shade, coming somewhere between ginger and brown - giving off an almost coppery, bronze air. Not like it really matters, as Edward apparently isn't all concerned about it, as his usually styling routine is to wake up and flatten it with his hands. Hair is grown straight, bangs falling to the brim of his eyes, sometimes casting them in shadow, but for the most part hair is pushed about in odd angles to create the 'I just got out of bed look.' Which is, of course, the truth. When your pushing your hundred thirtieth birthday, other things top your list besides how your hair looks that morning - especially when there is nobody out there to impress. Besides, is the fashion of your hair really as so important you need to slave over it? Well, enough of his silly rambling thoughts, his hair is naturally straight, flopping over his head in translucent waves. And I say translucent simply by the fact that his hair is quite thin, and you can see through the fine strands and look at his forehead, though there aren't too many reasons why you would need to look at his forehead, regardless though - his hair is something girls would call "swoon worthy." Unfortunately, he stopped caring about it in the late 1920's.
THEMIRRORS,,
Edwards eyes are a common color, blue. Although, considering the fact that there aren't all too many eye colors out there - wouldn't it be perfectly normal to say all the colors were common? Regardless - Edward's eyes are blue, nothing all too shocking that make you want to stop and stare - they aren't immensely bright or any unusual shade that may very well remind you of the ocean, or whatever other blue metaphors there are, they are simply blue. A calm color - to be certain, and in bright light can be considered gray. Though he's not exactly going near bright light anytime soon - as this would probably not turn out to the best of ways. Orbs are held in almost what you would call almond shaped lids, though still peculiarly round. He has an odd habit of half squinting which makes his eyes appear smaller than they actually are - though apparently this doesn't phase him, as when he squints he can become more concentrated on seeing things around him. As I said before, when your in your hundreds, other things become higher priorities. Either way, the boy does have sharp eyes, as they were quite good when he was an actual human, apparently, though many of those memories have escaped him, and you can't exactly be expected to remember if you had good vision or not. It's not like Edward can see farther than the other vampires, no, it's simply he has a tendency to be more aware. This could play into the fact that is is a bit older, though regardless, he tends to spot subtle movements, not easily mind you, as he does need to be in his 'aware' mode. Not that it really matters to anyone, unless of course, your trying to hide from him. Relating to that fact, like most vampires Edward has the what some might call 'intensity' about his eyes. Something that draws you too them, making you not want to look away. This doesn't matter if your eyes are brown or green - it is simply a trait that comes with being a vampire, your vision can pierce through people, you can hold them captive with a look. Some tend to find this amusing, to play around with humans this way - and Edward will bashfully admit that he had found it fun, but he has grown out of that state of mind, and generally uses his well...powers one might call them, when they are needed.
THEMASK,,
Edward's face has more of an 'oval' quality to it, not that it's incredibly oblong or such, but chin and jaw are tapered down, giving somewhat an illusion of a slim face. Not to say it isn't attractive, of course, being a vampire it's hard to not be attractive, you'd really have to work hard at it. High cheekbones are placed on the boy, along with a strong jaw, though, as I said, his face is not heart shaped nor round, which makes this look almost...unique in a sense. It makes people stop and look, notice something about his face, that makes him just that much more attractive. Resting a good couple inches about his chin, Edwards mouth is well...considered almost pale I guess, lips are pink, and quite normal sized, well shaped anyway - and has a light scar running down his lower lip, almost making them look chapped, rather than wounded. Of course, this had obviously come from when he was human, as it would be mildly impossible to scar nowadays. He can't exactly place what memory needs to be matched up, but it doesn't really matter - it's there after all, and it's not highly noticeable so theres no real reason to come up with an in depth summary on it. Teeth are well, white I suppose - as being around as long as he has fangs are easy enough to hide, though who can resist giving a toothy little smile now and then - the reactions are enough to brighten anyones day. Moving along, Edwards nose is well shaped, angled nicely, though slightly larger - not too much so where it looks out of place, it simply gives him more...character, if you will. His nose is what you would call delicate, or maybe soft - as it's not particularly jutting or pointed, it has a rounded effect, curling into his skin at such an angle, you would be quite amazed if you decided to study it. Of course, not too many people decide they want to study Edwards nose. Either way, it's more...gentle, I guess you could say, of course, not too many people judge others' character off of their nose, but if they did, well Edward would be up there. Though since they don't, he's stuck with a nose not many would call perfect - but certainly nice, pleasant, meshes with his features well. Eyes are fringed with a dusty colored assortment of brown lashes, quite long in length - though are sometimes hard to distinguish considering the fact that they don't show up all too well against his fair skin. Though if you are concentrating on him, watching his habits, as he blinks, lashes will fan out over his cheeks in such a way you might be prone to gasping. Not by the fact that they are long, or unusually colored, but by the fact as how graceful it seems when such a thing occurs, almost like an epic scene from a movie - though he hardly knows this, all that he's concerned about is blinking, regardless of what others do when they see him do so. Brow isn't indecently large, you could say it's well proportioned with the rest of his face, and is covered by his hair a good deal of the time, so you can't exactly gauge if his forehead is a masterpiece or not, though by looking through shafts of hair you can tell it looks quite normal, no obtuse growths growing out of his forehead or anything to that affect.
THEMANNEQUIN,,
Edward would not be considered a giant, nor would he be considered peculiarly small, standing at about 5'11" you would be able to call him decent sized, not too intimidating anyway. Of course, being this height he is generally smaller than other males, not too say he isn't as intimidating, who says you need to be tall and huge to win out at a fight? Being around for quite a long time, Edward has accumulated skills to fighting over relying on your newly accumulated brute strength. As you grow older, get to know your limits, your boundaries, you can push yourself as far as you can, knowing when your snapping point is, you can figure out how to out think the young, come up with strategical maneuvers that can seem a little more than intimidating. Of course, this has come with years of time, accumulating knowledge, having experienced fights, practiced with friends, yes he may have an upper hand and a few tricks up his sleeve when in a fight, but that certainly doesn't mean he's gifted, but he definitely retains more information on how to fight, rather than throwing yourself at a target and hope to crush them with your fist - because as we all know, that doesn't always turn out for the best. Form comes across as lengthy, being turned at seventeen, that's the way his body stays. Limber, thin, that's some adjectives that fall into place in your mind when you see him, though he does have muscle, built under his arms and along his chest, but it would be described as wiry, hidden under his frame, unless you decide to come close to him, then you would be able to tell he is, in fact, quite the strong little lad. Pairing with the fact that he is a vampire, all movements are certainly elegant, graceful. By watching him walk you could bet your life savings he wouldn't trip over anything marring his path. This is certainly true, when Edward moves - it's not labored or slow, really. It seems like some part of an intricate, low key dace, he doesn't rush through things, going at the seemingly 'correct' speed for what the situation calls for, he does not like wasting energy running around like an idiot, wasting your energy on having fun rather than important matters, well, he tends to find that too self indulgent, annoying, and, of course, ignorant.
THERAGS,,
You can't really say that Edward has a specific 'style.' Being a vampire, you live through many fashion trends, years move faster, and clothing changes rapidly. You could say he might dress more...classy, maybe. Living for so long, your money tends to accumulate, and it's always a safer bet to just order a years worth of clothes from this centuries top designer. After all - the key here is to blend. His clothing choices are simple. Blazers, jeans, collared shirt - which he will occasionally 'pop,' yes he is "hip" with the new trends. You could call them timeless pieces, though hearing this he would laugh vivaciously. If he decided to wear his 'timeless' clothes from living in the 1930's well, he wouldn't exactly blend. His remark would be that nothing is timeless, usually leaving them quite a bit puzzled. Edward doesn't accessorize, well, basically at all. He doesn't wear watches, they tend to feel uncomfortable to him, like a shackle, tightening on his wrist and that tends to make him think confined - besides, is it really that important to know the time? Around his neck is a simple black thread, hanging from it a small sized Victorian aged key. Not that he knows what it is, but when he had awoken as a vampire, and memories were fading, well, this was hanging from his neck. You could say it has...sentimental value. Even though he doesn't even know if it was his - or the vamp who changed him.
PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION
THAT TWO FACE WHORE!
To be on Edwards bad side is usually never a good thing. Considering he has quite a grasp on his powers, and knows his limits, he is obviously strong - but to say the least, who really wants to cross lines with a hundred twenty two year old vampire? When Edward doesn't like a person, he really doesn't make it all too obvious, growing up in times where acting civil to one another was expected, these values have stuck with him as the years have rolled by. Besides, if you don't sound like an incompetent jackass twenty four seven things, it's easier to will people to do your...favors. Many people generally annoy Edward, he doesn't exactly care about trivial matters, so the thoughts and concerns of some of the younger vampires whittle at his nerves at an alarming rate. Not that it shows, he looks quite grasped into the conversation, though living for as long as he has, it's easy to sit still, become emotionless and pretend your listening - when your not, and thinking about how it would be oh so much more fun to see how fast you could throw them head first into a wall, though he generally manages to restrain himself. Tight lipped smiles, and languid eyes usually point to the sign that Edward could really care less what your thinking, though most aren't perceptive enough to notice it, as he really is quite the actor, emotions - even if their fault come naturally to him, draping his face and actions in the very being of the meanings. To say the least, if you don't know him and he hates you - you'd be the very last person to know.
Of course, if theres a general loathing involved, he won't be so petty as to act like a pissed off skank and attack you every chance he gets with petty barbs. No, he can be much more...complex. Yes, hate is a word flung around often, 'I hate my parents for grounding me,' 'I hate her, she stole my boyfriend!' All expressions Edward has heard one time too many. He doesn't hate for flimsy reasons like that, no, he needs a real reason, an actual reason. And trust me, it's hard to piss off a vampire that's been living for a good century. Not to say it isn't possible, trust me, it is - push this vamp too far and say goodbye to your apparent 'immortality.' What a childish word - to be immortal, living forever, well he's seen more than a couple die that were supposed to live forever, so that thought doesn't really occur in his head all to often. It's survival of the fittest, and if your dumb enough to stab him in the back, well, you certainly don't deserve to live any longer - and Edward will all too pleasantly remind you of this. He tends to hate liars, well not technically liars, just bad liars. Considering he's a full fledged liar himself, some might call him a hypocrite, but this isn't the case...exactly. For Edward himself is quite the skilled little actor, and if you manage to fool him, well, by all means your witty and he'll respect you. But fall on your face as the truth falls out from behind you, well, you won't exactly be invited to any of his future birthday parties, that's for sure.
WHAT A SWEET LITTLE SIN.
So Edward might be what some people call, emotionally unattached. Not to everybody, nor in every emotion. Just to people who say they fancy him, and he will deny love like it never existed. Not to say he doesn't like to have fun, every self respectable vampire can't be denied lust - it is one of the emotions based off of them after all, in the stories - correct? And it's all that much more fun than falling in love, you don't have to worry about the extra baggage, so to speak. It's not as if he's so self absorbed he doesn't want another, but if you've seen such classics as Romeo and Juliet, if you've witness peoples own love stories in front of your eyes and have seen then be butchered and wrecked, broken and mangled - well, it kind of puts a stopper on giving your heart away anytime soon. Not to say he's mean to the people who want to get with him, just the ones that start to care a little bit more than they should. He simply wants to live out his days, without being anguished by a true love that died by decapitation or other such 'poetic' themes in which a vampire can die. Be it boy or girl, Edward can be up for almost anything, though he's surprisingly virtues, after all those years the boy is still a virgin, and despite the fact that he's the walking undead or whatever people call it, and he can no longer impregnate innocent girls, nonetheless, be it the time in age when he was born, Edward will, under no circumstances, let having fun progress into something else, after all it is called 'making love,' and why would you do that with someone who meant nothing to you? Especially if you were scared of love itself already.
He may have some greedy indulgences, but that's not to say he's all cold in the game of love. Why, Edward can marvel any person, charm them into thinking they're the most beautiful thing living, he'll make you feel loved in twenty four hours, like your the only thing on earth that matters. He'll hold your hand, and stroke your skin - anything to have a little fun, he's seen enough plays to know how the game of acting works, and hey - the vampires should know not to trust everybody by now - and if you haven't yet, well that can be your first lesson. It is a peculiar fact, that if you watch him, listen, he'll never say the words love, but he'll make you feel it, so he's not conning them exactly. People can call each other beautiful without having a long term relationship - it is simply a word, though Edward definitely doesn't put such a large hold on it as love, or hate. After all, who isn't beautiful once you've been turned? You should know that already, not seeking it out in some stranger who could rip your heart out at any given moment. Given that fact, if you know Edward - or at least about him, you can simply let yourself enjoy the charm he can throw over you, or course if your not prepared, you better be alright with finding the bed empty in the morning.
YOU COULD THROW A FIT, BUT I WOULDN'T SHED A TEAR.
You may be wanting to hear, that Edward, is in fact - a very caring emotional person. If this were the case though, you'd be very, very wrong and in for disappointment. It's not as if he has no heart...well, he actually doesn't, but in the metaphorical sense. He will obviously be there for people he considers friends, yes he does care about them. But if you have a problem, a slight one, don't think he'll fawn over you and start crying any times soon. Living so long he's seen war, and plagues. Bombings, shooting, terrorist attacks. Starvation, rapes, murders, and suicides. He's seen abusive parents, and older siblings shooting up heroine in their backyards, to say the least his eyes have seen many things - some which he has found very upsetting, where he finds it necessary for people to show emotion. There are things that typically, should be mourned, and things that need the slightest case of pity before you move on with your life. Edward believes some people have a hard time distinguishing the two, and if someone gets angry at him for 'not caring,' or 'not seeming sad enough,' he'll usually end up sneering and walking away. Sadness, remorse, sorrow...all important emotions, he'll admit this readily, but they are deep emotions, something important, that can make you depressed or anti-social. So why are they flared up so often over trivial matters? Things like this often baffle him, and he usually keeps away from such matters.
AND WHAT A HAPPY SMILE.
From this point in time you may believe that Edward, is in fact, quite cynical. And you would be right, to a large degree anyway. Edward, seems easy enough to judge - but, like most people, there are different sides that he shows. Obviously he wouldn't turn on a friend that did nothing to him but make him happy - regardless, there is a side of Edward that few seem to find. He can, in fact, be genuinely caring. No, he may not pity everything and help out everyone, but there are people whom Edward regards as closer accomplices, people he would help protect if harm came their way. He can be happy, really, it's almost impossible to never be happy, but the circumstances must be right. You may be able to tell this easily, and if you can't you clearly haven't been paying all too much attention, but Edward doesn't really get close to too many people. There is too much fear bottled up inside him, and despite the fact that having deeper relations with some would help him, Edward isn't allowing that side of his personality to surface. Often anyway. He may feel some sort of magnetic tug, to certain people, or...vampires, rather. But when such a thing happens he usually cuts them off, stays away from them. So, given the fact that he could be happy, Edward simply doesn't really give himself the chance to.
Not denying that he's never happy. After all, you can't live one hundred twenty odd years without having a few close friends. Yes, he can have fun and joke around. You may even find Edward smiling - no traces of fangs of course, unless he's intent on scaring a poor soul. He can laugh, he can smile, he can cry, he can show emotion. Yes, all these things can happen. It's just he has seemed to close off this certain path. Who really needs love, compassion? Well, the answer most people would blurt out immediately is yes. Of course you do, you won't be sane if you don't But your mind can become twisted, tangled. Warped even, over years and years of thinking about the term. To love somebody, to care. To give your whole being to them. Is it really safe, is it really worth it? Now, if anyone has gone through this, they would most likely say yes. But, yet again, Edward has never been in love. He wouldn't know that despite the danger there is a rather good outcome that can befall it. Yes, he can fight, he can trick, he can thieve. He can get annoyed he can have a grudge and he can kill. But as we all know, hating is easy, love is hard, it takes courage. So what is our Edward - if not a mere coward?

HOW THEY BECAME WHAT THEY ARE
It was quite a ways back, when Edward was turned. Times were different, people respected each other, you didn't do it simply because you felt like it, it was expected, that was the way things were. It was a good couple of weeks after Edward had turned seventeen. His parents had been pressuring him to find a bride, he was to take over their business and have a wife and start a family. It's simply how things were meant, what was expected of you. Leaving his house in disgust, after having a screaming match with his parents - which was extremely disrespectful mind you, he wandered a good five miles down the town road, leading towards a town he was never really informed on. Despite that fact, the town has no matter to this story, so to explain what even Edward did not know, would be dull and completely unnecessary. Because on the way there he had found a traveler. An older man, by the looks of it, around maybe thirty, thirty five, though at the time he appeared older, ragged, like he had been deprived from food for too long. Though in this case it wasn't food he was after, it was blood. Edward, being as gentlemanly as everyone was back in the times, offered to help. Misguided by a story that the mans mule was being stubborn and wouldn't come out from the forest edge, Edward followed him in naively, and then the vampire pounced. Although, fortunately enough for him, the vampire wasn't starving just because it couldn't find prey, it was being hunted, and as the other vampire, or whatever it was that was hunting him, sprung from the forest - fangs were taken, not very gently mind you, from flesh. Long story short Edward was changed, his parents of course were devastated, but that is a different story, and shall be told another time.
