open- anyone [w]- probably more coming
Guilty pleasures. Very much a guilty pleasure it was. Men just sitting around watching girls strip. And why was Devin there? He, himself was clueless and probably everybody around him was probably clueless as well. Not everybody was as perverted as they would like to think that they were. It was horrible to watch girls take their clothes off for money. But there something about it that made it interesting. The music? No, that wasn't it. The girls? It could be some factor in it. All Devin knew was this experience would probably be his only one at Guilty Pleasures.
Winding around the chairs that stuck out in random places, Devin made his way to a seat in the corner. It was hard for normal human beings to see in that place, but with the midnight blue eyed, six foot three inches brunette could see perfectly. Sitting quietly in his little corner he ordered a drink like normal and watched what people would call a 'show'.
Out of habit and not really knowing that he was doing it, he played with the empty glass in front of him. Forgetting his own strength the glass broke in between his fingers and all that was coming up was a little scratch with no blood. Hiding his hand as if someone would have noticed there was no blood and forgetting that most people at Guilty Pleasures were vampires and didn't think of it as abnormal. Looking at all the small pieces of glass that lied on the table he felt a bit embarrassed.
"Fuck."
Devin tried to put in a nice little pile for the waiter to pick up when he came back with his drink. After getting it into a nice, neat pile, Devin sat back and watched a very familiar girl on stage dance.

[OCC ]Hope you don't mind me posting as it was open. (: I didn't realize how hard it would be to figure out how to respond without implying that she was into other women. xD
It didn't feel quite right for her, a girl to be in here and not 'performing' as they put it. Jobs could be gotten here, and they pay was alright, she wouldn't mind waitressing a bit. The job was the only reason she felt any pull towards the club, otherwise she felt completely repulsed by the gyrating dancers and strippers. Hell, she was broke and there wasn't anywhere else around that a vampire such as she could wish to work, still it didn't seem right in the least. The petite girl scooted around several people before coming to a stop in from of the bar. Damn, the stupid thought of not having any form of license that declared her as 18. She didn't drive really, though gad attained her license in previous years. She wasn't about to get alcohol. The fact that she was vampire made the drink not work in the least.
A large man with a lusty expression on his greedy face approached her, 'Aren't you supposed to be up there.' One fat finger, the size of a sausage pointed to the stage. Jen groaned, was she dressed like a stripper?! Today she had been adventurous, and worn a mid thigh length denim skirt with embroidery trailing down the side, matched with her favorite shirt; a tight v neck sweater that fit her just right. Wordlessly she flashed the middle finger at him and stepped past, eye rolling in annoyance.
One purse that was left upon the polished floor was the weakness in the instance. To her, it felt like slow motion, her left foot caught upon the strap of a leather purse that had been so carelessly left upon the ground, next moment, she was flying headfirst through the air. Quickly, she straightened her body so that she wouldn't land in a heap on the floor - what could be more embarrassing? Instead, she landed in a slow crouch, at the foot of a tall stool. Wide eyes looked up and spotted a familiar face.

OOC: Oh no I don't mind at all. :]]
Who was this girl that looked so familiar that it was becoming unfunny? Even though the boy had a perfect memory when he was alive, but now that he was dead it seemed like that wasted away with most things. It was quite obvious that if he had a better view that he could definitely figure out who this gorgeous girl was.
"Hmm."
He thought aloud to himself as he tip-tapped his fingers against the rounded table with the broken glass on the other end. Scratching his neck as if he had an itch, which he didn't seeing how nothing ever itches anymore when your dead. Devin continually had nervous reactions to the strangest things especially when he was in a new place. He would either rub his hands against his pant legs or scratching at his neck, he would always do it.
As he kept his midnight blue eyes on the girl, he could feel a small, soft smile spread across his face. A smile that only showed the tips of his fangs, which he hated by the way. They always seemed to nick the corners of his lips. This smile was special. It meant that he had remembered the girl's name, which was a great deal for him. He waited patiently for the girl to get done with her routine, so he could 'chat' with her.
What am I gonna say to her when she's done?
He wondered quietly to himself. As the waiter came back and asked if everything was okay. All the six foot, three inches tall brunette could do was nod.
"Oh! Wait, I accidentally broke one of the glasses. And can I get the check please. Thanks."
Pointing to pile on the table and quickly turning his attention to the stage. He hoped to catch one more glimpse of her before she came down off the stage. Standing up and weaving back through the chairs he found himself at the corner of the stage. Not realizing what he was about to do and how nervous he was. It didn't matter now. Putting his pale hand against the side of his face,
"Psst! Come here, Jenifer."
Whispering was so impolite, but he would do it if it meant saving one of his fellow vampires from humiliation.

Bright eye blinked twice, gaze swept around the entire building; hoping that no one had seen her ungraceful stunt. Hell, ungraceful might as well be her middle name. The lithe girl used her knees to push her small body into a sitting position. From there she combed her long brown hair – now in a delightful mess from her embarrassing trip. Several moments past and her hair was untangled enough so that it was presentable. Jenn stood up onto on tottery feet and just stood there, blinking into the stage lights that where blinding her.
Her outfit, that had been so carefully chosen that afternoon was now ruffled, the skirt had risen about two inches up her thigh, it resembled one of the dancer’s costumes, and the sweater had been pulled low over her lacy bra. Now she was embarrassed. Hitching down her skirt and pulling at her shirt, the red-faded teenager half jumped half tripped from the place that she had been standing. A voice caught her attention, it was merely a whisper, but she still heard it. A slender hand gripped the railing to a nearby chair, to safeguard against any more mishaps with stray purses. Jen’s eyes found the speaker, the tall brunette with the dark eyes. Definitely someone she knew, a vampire, she recognized his scent.
“Devin?”
A mere question, her melodious voice sounded crystal clear against the loud music and babble of voices. Her eyes sought out the figure, a handsome male, one that she had met before, obviously. All vampires knew one another, and this was just another example about how absent minded she was – almost forgetting his name.

Nodding in a polite manner, Devin managed to squeeze a yes into a whisper. Keeping his hand stretched out in front of him so Jennifer could have something to grab onto as she came down the stairs, and a tad bit worried that she would trip and fall on top of him. He hate the thought of falling backwards. Falling forwards was a different story. Falling forwards you could at least catch yourself, falling backwards meant there was no hope for you.
"Come on."
He gestured. He wondered if the stage lights would end up following her to the stairs. Was there a point in the lights following her? She didn't really work there and the people who actually did should've known that. All these thoughts racing through his head, he had totally forgot what he was doing.
Hoping that Jenifer would hurry up and get off stage so they could leave was starting to take over his mind. He was getting uncomfortable standing there and seeing everybody looking at him like he was doing something wrong. Didn't they know that it was just plan rude to stare at someone for a long period of time.
"Assholes."
He muttered to himself, hoping that Jen didn't hear him. Looking into her eyes, mesmerized him. Didn't know why that was either. Jenifer had really gorgeous eyes, but he would never let her know what he thought about her. It was in fact a secret.

Blue eyes traveled over the features of the man standing there, it was Devin, going to save her from complete and utter humiliation. The girl knew her face was flushed, and she looked completely disheveled. As a vampire, Jen could sense the emotions running through some of the people, confusion at her appearance on stage suddenly, and a tad bit of lust coming from some. Her scarlet tone deepened, and she accepted the hand outstretched to her.
Slowly but carefully, she descended the steps, falling again would totally ruin her night completely. Her shoes where the only sound that she could hear other than the embarrassed beating of her own heart. The music was drowned out in the continuous thud that came from her chest. Nervously, with her other hand, she tugged down her skirt a little more, so her entire thigh wasn't as exposed. Pah, she should have dressed in the way that she did. Why didn't she stick to her favorite sloppy style of a sweatshirt and jeans? Why the fancy hooker getup? Because of the fucking job. And she still needed to talk to the manager about it. Ughh, she could almost scream with frustration.
But at least Devin was here, looking just as embarrassed as she at the attention that he was getting for coming to help her. That was so nice of him, to come to her aid at the expense of his own feelings. She let a n affectionate smile spread across her features, he was a very agreeable person. She heard his voice, "Assholes." She did agree with him, but was more focused on her balance than on the people around her at this point. She neared the last step, and leaned over to give him a quick hug, just to show her gratitude.

As he felt her give him a hug before she reached the landing. Devin had only been hugged once in his life, well now twice. It was a little awkward to him. It was hard to say, but Devin D'Carte didn't know how to hug someone. There was the whole having to think about where to the hands and where not to put them that threw him off. Upper back or lower back? He didn't know. Seeing as Jennifer was still latched onto him, Devin attempted to hug her. Placing his arms around her waist, and held her for a second.
Letting go and looking around to see if anybody had seen them, Devin took Jen's hand and began to lead her out of Guilty Pleasures. He wanted to be away from all the madness and the hooting and hollering. The brunette wasn't one to ridicule others lives, but when they started to look like a bunch of shapeshifters it started to degrade the whole species.
He turned around to face Jen for one second. He had to know if she really wanted to get out of there as much as he did. Looking into her eyes, he could see a faint resemblance of himself.
"You want to get out of here?"
He whispered into her ear. Yes, Devin was being his romantic self tonight. Saving a damsel in distress, whispering into her ear, holding her hand. . . It was all a part of who Devin really was. And what he was( besides of being a vampire) was a poet.
